Braemar
After being refitted in 2008 the Braemar now offers a 929 passenger capacity with an extra 80 cabins with balconies available. A typically English feature onboard is a pub which features some light entertainment comprising of a comedian or jazz music.
There is plenty of day and evening entertainment to keep you going throughout your cruise aboard the Braemar. In the Coral Club, serving afternoon tea by day and hosting cabaret shows by night, Lido bar for outdoor lunches in the sun or post dinner beverages, Morning Light pub for catching up with fellow passengers and friends old and new. Or if theatre is more your kind of entertainment there are two shows in the fantastic Neptune lounge with music and dancing to keep you on your toes. Or check out the Skylark Club where you can socialise away the small hours with a cocktail in hand or try your luck at the roulette or blackjack tables which are also situated in this intimate night time spot.
Dining is hassle free with three eateries to choose from. The Grampian restaurant in its unique horse-shoe shape will entice you from its sumptuous menus and glorious views of the ocean. Here you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere in welcoming surroundings. The Palms Cafe is the informal dining option where you can dine at whatever time you wish and with a self service buffet, you can choose cuisine to suit your individual tastes. The Thistle restaurant is the largest dining venue seating 380 passengers at any one time. With surrounding views of the sea what better place to enjoy the lavish Captain’s dinner with stunning culinary delights. Or on the less formal nights, you can enjoy a friendly atmosphere with delicious cuisine to suit. Whatever you choose you will not be disappointed.
