Grills Experience
Cunard’s Grills are among the best at sea with a history steeped in tradition spanning almost 70 years. The Grill’s began with the Queen Mary in 1936 where normality was to pay an extra tariff to dine in the stylish Verandah Grills. As demand grew it was made readily available on the Queen Elizabeth 2. In 1972 the grades of the cabins were coupled with specific dining options. The Princess Grill followed in 1975 and the Britannia Grill in 1990.
Britannia Grill
If you are accommodated in Britannia Stateroom categories AA-D8 you will be dining in the stunning Britannia Grill where you can relax in stunning art deco surroundings of this two tiered dining venue after a day of sight-seeing. Dining times can be early sitting at 6.30pm or later sitting at 8.30pm. Guests in the AA Club Balcony staterooms can be more flexible as they are permitted to dine anytime between 6.30pm-9.00pm in an exclusive Club Balcony dining room.
Princess Grill
If you are accommodated in stateroom categories P1-P4 (Queen Elizabeth & Queen Victoria) P1-P3 Queen Mary 2 you will be dining in sophisticated Princess Grills where you can enjoy mouth watering menus and sumptuous surroundings. Another option for dining with the Princess Grills is the open air Courtyard aboard the Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria where you can take pleasure in a delicious meal under the stars in those warmer climates. Dining times in the Princess Grill’s are not restricted as they host a single-seating policy.
Queens Grill
If you are accommodated in stateroom categories Q1-Q7 you will be dining in the exclusive Queen’s Grill. Here you can indulge in the most memorable Cunard experience as you peruse through exquisite menus. If there is something not on the menu the chef’s onboard will endeavour to create any culinary delight to suit your tastes. Additional to this world class dining experience you may wish to appreciate your very own personal butler who delivers pre-dinner canapés without the need to request – A true Cunard experience.
