Continuing in the style and traditions of the previous Queen Elizabeths, this grand cruise ship offers classic Cunard cruising with a contemporary twist. Launched in October 2010, this glamorous ocean liner inherits a heritage recalling the golden era of cruising, so that past and future come together in one elegant ship.
Queen Elizabeth retains many of the features of her predecessors, with luxurious decor and furnishings accentuated by art deco touches that will transport you right back to the 1930s and 40s. Sail the 7 seas in luxury, with lavishly decorated rooms, grand staircases and showstopping chandeliers. Lose your breath as you enter Queen Elizabeth's Grand Lobby, with its sweeping staircases and sophisticated artworks. Overlooking this focal point you'll find the Library, two floors of case upon case of books, warming wood and nooks for hiding away with a classic pageturner under a beautiful leaded glass ceiling. And feel the glamour as you gaze up at the soaring ceilings of the Queens Room, with its sparkling chandelier, stained glass, intricate balconies and elegant dancefloor.
Evenings sparkle with a wide choice of bars, lounges and entertainment, from the private boxes of the 3-tier Royal Court Theatre to the roulette wheels of the Empire Casino. Relax in the surroundings of a traditional British pub at the Golden Lion, dance the night away on the compass-shaped dance floor of the Yacht Club, and escort your partner to a themed ball in the Queens Room.
In the day, you'll find so many things to see and do, from dance classes and garden parties to watching old favourites at the Cunard Classic Film Club or hearing the guest speakers at Cunard Insights. Pamper yourself at the heavenly Royal Spa, work up a swaet at the state-of-the-art fitness centre, get competitive on the Games Deck or sip afternoon tea in the Queens Room. Enjoy sunny days and the fresh evening air in the al fresco Garden Lounge, with its plants and conservatory-style roof inspired by Kew Gardens. Take a refreshing dip in the Pavilion Pool and breathe in the sea air on a stroll along the Promenade Deck.
This is just a taster. Whatever you choose to do and however you choose to do it, a cruise on board the Queen Elizabeth will ensure you do it in style.
